Hola chica! (Cause I like the way it sounds!)

Cause work can be too much fun, the gym too exciting, home so productive I needed a place to store my soon to be patented only on the tv guide channel ideals.

oh come on...

darn server is slow today...

so the big news

VERONICA MARS RENEWED...
good job CW...your fall lineup looks like the place to be!

one little quibble-

7th Heaven? really? why can't you people just let this show die already?
of course it could be the whole blessed by god...
and Pat Robertson
who speaks to God
I will believe it when I see this...
and if it's true
and God is speaking directly to Robertson
especially about this
then God and I are going to have issues...

I have been contemplating global warming...
and what steps I need to take as an individual
to slow down the process...
I already don't drive, use public transportation...
so my carbon emissions are lower than you average folks.
i guess my next bet is to read more on this topic
and to find some organizations that can use my
very special skills....
more to be blogged on this topic in the future...

i need to go to the library
i have three books i want to read
1) Freakonomics- I was going to read it before VCU implemented as the campus wide book to read for 2206-2007.
2)Passage to India- I saw most the movie. It's long. Therefore it goes on my list.
And i had a recent successful attempt at curry

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons coconut cream
  • 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind pulp
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon chickpea flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seed
  • 1 head cauliflower, broken into small florets
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Dissolve the coconut cream in 5 tablespoons milk.
  2. Soak the tamarind in 2 tablespoons boiling water, 5 to 10 minutes. Squeeze the husk and discard the tamarind piece, save the water.
  3. Combine the tamarind water with the flour, chili powder and coriander in a mixing bowl, mix well. Add the cauliflower and coconut milk, stir until cauliflower is coated.
  4. Heat oil in a saucepan. Place the mustard seeds in the oil, when they start popping add the cauliflower mixture. Cover with a lid and simmer until cauliflower is tender, stir occasionally.

3) Black Dahlia- I am not sure if this is the actual name of the book. Famous murder case, corruption and sex in the 1930's. A movie is being made with Jenny from the L-word and Hilary Swank. Oh and some other people...

I want to give a high five to my internet friend Scarlet for several reasons
*scarlet is the coolest name ever
*i am on her blog roll
*her daily quiz is horribly addictive...

new interest: modern art.
looking at it, really looking and thinking about it.
this is a new phase for me
i usually am only interested in stuff like
the fact that despite working for her money, Ms. Lindsey Lohan is consider poor for being worth only $7 million...according to these classy people...
seriously why are we even paying attention to the Hilton crew anymore?

also props to chuck for being what he calls "a networking stud"

season finale wrap up:
CSI- old guy shot, doesn't die. Grissom and Sara are doing it
Greys Anatomy- Black guy shot, doesn't die. Derek and Mer are doing it
OC- Marissa dies (not shot). People do it.(I don't know I don't watch it)
Lost- People shot. Some people did it.
Veronica Mars- Beaver dies (not shot). Everyone wants Veronica and Logan to do it.
24- I'm sure some people will be shot, are shot, and will do it.
Alias- Sydney shot/strangled. Syndney and Vaughn do it. (Again I'm not sure since I stopped watching a long time)

IT"S PROM SEASON! USE PROTECTION
