Guiness and eggs

I seem to have fallen into the pattern of spending sunday exploring Richmond
Last weekend was the museum in the fan.
Today I decided to go east and check out shockoe bottom....well at the flea market

I bought two handmade necklaces (spent too much of course) The woman reminded me so much of NOHO. All hippy and talking about negative space and stuff.
She makes pretty and affordable stuff.
I am still thinking if I want to send one to mom for moms day.

Anyway, the lady gave me her card and invited me to give her call to hang out in two weeks with her and a group of her friends. I might just take her up on that offer....maybe i will finally meet some peeps.

Then I went to the third street diner.
Its a nifty place.
It once was a hospital and a morgue!
The burger was yummy, they serve it on an onion roll
Sinatra, 50 Cent and Teddy Pendagrass on the old jukebox.
I believe I like it better than Perly's.
The specialty there....grilled donut w/ ice cream.
Um...yum!
Even better, it has a full bar
Breakfast anytime of the day - have a guiness or G&T with your biscuits and gravy.


Mckitty is sick today :(
The bacteria in his mouth is causing him to have difficulty time swallowing.
Scarier is that his third eyelid is out.
FIV sucks.
Poor mick
But...hopefully he can eat some turkey I am cooking tonite
and
I will take him to the vet tommorow.
Next month I am going to find a new vet.

So that was my day.
