Don't get me wrong -It was good, well acted, Laura Linney was wonderful
But it sugarcoated many of the demons that drove Kinsey
and the personal agenda that drove his work and dominated the lives of everyone around him.

He produced some amazing work
He collected 1 million gall wasps
He pioneered the personal interview as a powerful tool for research
He laid the groundwork to the homosexual awakening and the womens liberation movement.
He titilatted and provoked the American Public about the most taboo of subjects.

He also promoted a pedophiliac agenda by encouraging the sexualization of children, specifically in the male booktable 34.
He used methods that became more bizarre and undermined the validity of his research
He promoted his sexual agenda while hiding behind the non-biased veil of science
He took the fun out of sex, the love out of sex, the intimacy out of sex by placing the emphasis on the sole importance of an orgasm.
He never fully understood the power of the female orgasm

Most of all I am interested in how his research team, their families, and Kinseys wife went along with everything the man suggested. so yesterday i got the bill for harriet the implanted iud... and it was over $500.
now i did not get mad...i figured there was probably a mistake
so i talked to the nice insurance people who said they would look into it
because that service should have been covered.
low and behold!
i was right
they coded me wrong at the doctors and i will on have to pay half the charge...which is more to my expectations and liking....
though
i could go on a rant about how my decision to take an active responsibility in preventing unwanted children saves the insurance company and society money and therefore they should not only be covering the full cost of this service but sending me coupons.
but i won't

more good news for my pocketbook!
Once the feds send some paperwork to my loan company my undergrad and grad loans will be consolidated. My monthly payments will drastically shrink. My interest rate is locked in at a lower rate. I can use the extra money to pay down my credit card bill and begin thinking about my next trip.
